With thanks to Ataloss on Raddr's board:

"No reason to leave GM"

"On her 83rd birthday, Lillian Winkel celebrated the same way she spends every day -- going to work at a General Motors Corp. metal stamping plant in Indianapolis. The great-great grandmother, who is the second-oldest woman working at GM, made $74,000 last year cleaning floors and emptying wastebaskets. Including the pension and Social Security she also gets, last year she received $114,000."

I'm going to assume she works ~ 80 hours a week. If its more like 40, omg.

Good for her. She'll never be on this forum, but she seems to know how to survive. She knows what makes her happy, and part of that is milking GM for that $74k cleaning job. The fact that she's overpaid is GM'S problem and symptomatic of the entire corporation. And, hey she's getting social security and a pension. Smart woman. I see a lot of 80+ year olds in the nursing home who would love to be able to do this.
