I thought this was a hoot. Amazing that people go for this kind of thing without so much as a casual glance at what they're buying. But I can't shake the feeling that it will somehow prove to be a wildly profitable "investment" for them ....

Some people have more money than common sense. The place sounds like the 200 person town my wife is from. You can buy a house for $15K to 20K there for a good reason.
