Super cheap laptop...wont last long

Lenovo 15" unit...$299 after rebate.

Not a speed demon, just an old celeron based unit...but if you're running an old sled and want something decent for bottom dollar...its not bad.

Keep an eye on it...some impulse buyers might cancel their orders and its still in stock in some areas.

OD is clearancing quite a few older laptops and I suspect there'll be more of it across other retailers since the new Santa Rosa platform is coming in and everyone wants one of those.

True, but it seems like everyone on the web learned about the OD deal within minutes of it being posted (Fatwallet, Techbargains, etc...) Went OOS pretty quickly. Unfortunately, because I actually w*rk for a living, yes, I know that's an offense punishable by being beaten with a wet noodle, I don't have time to monitor the deal forums or individual store websites.
