Deleting own post that has replies

Can I do this and if so, how? Thanks.

REWahoo 12-09-2009 10:57 AM

The edit (delete) window expires 6 hours after posting. And deleting the first post in a thread either deletes the entire thread or makes the replies meaningless.

Would you like one of the mods to delete the thread?

Yes, thanks, I would. It was much to verbose and ended up looking silly based on early replies and I agree with them. It was posted yesterday as :

"What do these 2 facts tell you about me and my retirement portfolio (multiple choice)"

REWahoo 12-09-2009 11:04 AM

I assume you are going to rephrase the question and post again?

I didn't think it looked silly, cashflo, but my bacon reply on it was--I was just in a silly mood. Sorry.
