I bookmarked this website some time ago, and in a fit of w*rk-induced boredom, I spent some time exploring it this afternoon. Found a jeans manufacturer in Texas, among other things, that sells jeans for around thirty bucks. Have been buying my jeans from Costco of late, though I still like the fit of Levi's. May try a pair.

Anyway, for anyone interested, here's a link to the site: Still Made in USA.com - American-Made Products for Home and Family

Other manufacturers mentioned are Staber, Lodge, Sub-zero, etc.

Now I know all about comparative advantage, and all that other economic gobbledy-gook, but I'm willing to give Merkins a chance, even for a few more bucks, if necessary. After all, it can't be much more expensive than extended unemployment, food stamps, etc.
