Broke and need help

I am 63 and had an unexpected hospital stay. Insurance paid, but not enough. REALLY broke. Just signed up for early SS.Can only work part time. After the earning cap, does the benefit reduction come out of gross or net pay?

Have you checked this with your local social security office? They should be able to answer this question for you best. Could I ask how much you ended up spending "out of pocket"? Best wishes.
