Hi all, I'm 58 and been retired for 2 years.

I'm playing with numbers on the FireCalc calculator, and trying to figure out how to input rental income that will last another 7 years or so.

Can anybody help me out?

Thanks, Trix55

One way is to put it in as Pension Income on the Other Income/Spending tab, and an equal amount as Off Chart Spending starting in the year the rental income ends.

Go to other income/spending tab, look at bottom of screen, put in annual amount as pension income, start year.

Next, put in start year, classify as off chart spending, then amount.

Just a guess, but....

Put an entry into Pensions on the Other Income/Spending tab for the rental income starting now and then put in an offsetting Off Chart Spending entry for the same amount beginning in 8 years from now.

No worries Golfnut, I was able to figure that part out!

Thanks.
