Current Savings Account Promotional Offers
 

Hi all,

I have a decent chunk of change (>$35k), of which about $25k I will be moving to index funds eventually. The remaining $10k will remain in the savings account as an emergency fund.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any promotional offers being offered for opening a new savings account? I know I had previously seen offers of up to $500 for new accounts being opened with high balances. I googled around but only saw promos for up to $200 or so but thought I would check with the ER community.

Chase is currently offering up to $500 for opening and funding a checking and a savings account. You get $300 for opening a checking account and setting up direct deposit (that's a requirement), and you get $200 for opening a savings account and depositing at least $15,000.
