I am new to this forum (and forums in general), please forgive me if the topic or format are misaligned with intended use.
Access to employer sponsored group health insurance is a rarity these days. As a former NYC employee I was told a long, long time ago that when I reached age 62, and begin receiving my pension benefit, NYC group health insurance may be reinstated.
I would like to learn from others who were "NYC deferred retirees / vestees" (i.e. separated from service prior to retirement) if they were able to reinstate NYC GHI commensurate with receiving DB pension payments.
Thank you!
