??... Husband earns 10k more SS than his wife's SS. Husband dies. Does the wife get the Husbands higher SS amount? On the SS site, it only talks about the surviving spouse getting the higher deceased spouse's benefit when benefits are recieved prior to FRA. Is it the same if the deceased spouse started receiving benefits at FRA? TIA
