Hello,
I'm a Canadian citizen and I have been working in the United States for over 20 years now. A friend of mine is also a Canadian, and living in America, and is getting a retirement check from Canada. He called "Service Canada" to start the process rolling and told me that they were very helpful.
They told him he should have called them a couple of years earlier as he could have started getting a pension at age 55. Well, I called them and they told me that the earliest you can get a pension is 60.
Does anyone know what program he is on or who I can talk to? He is getting $400 a month...
Thanks
Jason
