I met Rich & his lovely wife recently (an hour ago ) . He is incredibly funny ,charming and much thinner than I had thought . Rewahoo , back off on the retirement push because he does not look a day over 45 . So what was his burning question when we met ? How did I manage to retire on a nurse's salary ? What do I think of the markets ? What interesting money books have I read recently ? No, it was why is my punctuation so weird ? Is it a secret code ? Yes, It is a secret code to when the market stabilizes and for $9.99 I will send you the decoder ring . Hurry this is a one time offer and if you act fast I will include my secrets to lose money in any market .

P.S. Rich & his wife are soooo much fun !

Heck, I just think Rich is waiting for the right SWR and he's out. Another 10 to 20 years I'd guess.

Nice to know . Guess he'll make a nice looking corpse .

And he asked the same question I would have asked , had I the opportunity . :)

My family was too poor for comas or explanation marks and we could barely afford periods .So do not blame me I grew up punctuation challenged at least I got a special parking pass .

Bosh! We were so poor we never saw so much as a semicolon in a fortnight. We'd have been livin' the life o' Reilly with an apostrophe. In fact, me old Dad would regularly beat us with hyphens -- just for good measure. These kids today, what with colons and parentheses floating about everywhere free for the taking, can't possibly understand.

He didn't have any sample drugs to correct your punctuation problem? I thought doctors had a prescription for everything........

If I posted pictures hundreds of women would be showing up in Tampa with vague symptoms and wanting to see Rich and I like his wife too much to do that .
Dang it...you've made him even more mysterious now....

So Moe, did you and Rich agree to meet, or did you just happen to run into someone else wearing an ER Forum T-shirt? ER flash mob?

Hey what a cool idea...an ER Forum T-shirt! :D

Except we would never agree on a color, logo, who would manufacture them...or the cost. :p

Moe got to the web faster than I could -- we're camping. But my DW found a wireless network and already this thread is out of control ;).

We really did have a blast. Neither one of us bothered to mention how we'd recognize the other. We checked at the front desk then loitered, when my phone started ringing -- it was Moe and SO already seated, waving at us 20 feet away.

And yes, I did ask her about her punctuation. Someone had to do it, and I owed it to the board, esp the moderators. This involved at least 2 glasses of wine and a couple of beers between the two of us. But the usual dynamic took over: "just drinks" for an hour or so until all 4 of us (Moe brought a body guard) were convinced that the other was not a serial killer, then we agreed to order dinner.

Moe has a great sense of humor, great raconteur. We already agreed to a repeat performance up in Tampa in the not distant future. For the record, I initiated the meet and greet knowing we would be camping at a funky little ocean front campground on Siesta Key, close to Moe's home. Glad I did.

It was great fun.
