    Bank messing with my mortgage

You should refinance to a Fixed 10 year mortgage. That will keep you in the correct pay off date range and the rate will be better for 10 or 15 than for 30. You can do mortgages now for however many years you like with most national lenders. Home equity rate will be higher.

    Kitchen induction range help

I have the GE. I have only used if for a few months so far, but I do love it. I had a non-induction Jen Air cooktop for 30 years prior and it was still kicking. We did over the kitchen and went for induction. Glad we did.

Need help with a big retirement decision.

I retired 6+ years ago in Dec 2015. I had 845k between pension lump sum and 401k. They gave me 100k in severance. I lived quite frugally. I went to work part time and did not touch my money. I now have $1,422k. I'm in the college years now, so I don't plan to touch it for 4.5 more years...

    Struggling with 72T

My husbands pension is tax free, so the only one making taxable earnings is me. I'm not killing it, making like 40k a year, part time. I'm invested in Fidelity, 55% domestic stock, 10% foreign stock, 29% bonds, 6% short term. If I do it I'll let you know how it turns out. Because I left (Dec...

    mortgage applications , rental applications

If you use a Mortgage Broker rather than a bank you will find many options for < 20% down and NO PMI. You do not need to pay PMI if your credit is good even if you don't want to invest a huge down payment. Broker look across multiple lenders.
