Mom died at 57 and never got retirement. Made the decision at 23 i wanted to be retired by 50. Hubby and i saved and saved and didn't keep up with the Joneses...lost a lot of friends and family who just didn't get it...fought the idea that we didn't live like they did. Took the leap January 2017
