So if you just retired this year, and Firecalc said you were OK, and the market has just dropped 5%, can you sell stock as part of your withdrawals and still be OK, or do you have to wait for the market to go back up?

Thanks, Bssterl. The other problem has been that the "verify account" via text or phone that Personal Capital has also hasn't worked. I just got an email message from them that they want the last four numbers of several account numbers, so hopefully I'm getting closer to being unlocked.

Told you my math skills were bad. I just re-ran this in SSA calculator and retiring now would lower my SS at 70 by about $500 per month. I think, though, I could live with that by enjoying life more.
