What is a good amount to leave in the IRA ? I got 1.6M in TIRA, low 22% bracket, age 52 and just converted up to mid 24% tax bracket today. I think 22% bracket will go up to 25% in 2026.

YEP, went from 60/40 to 95/5 March 2020 and have gained 24x yearly expenses since.

+1,000 my average salary was 85k for 25 years but my saving/investment rate was 80% of my paycheck so I was able to build a NW close to 9M. Zero or low debt, high saving rate, long time horizon, take some risk are the key to early FIRE.

8 days on long range boat fishing Mexican waters and couple of Mexican islands for large 100#+ yellow fin tuna, 30-50# yellow tail, 50#+ grouper and large wahoo.

Thank you, the perquisite and preparation to get into CRNA school was extremely tough and very competitive in California specially the Kaiser program.

I put 20x yearly expenses in bond/cash and 57x yearly expenses in equities and don't plan to rebalance.

Daughter just started Kaiser CRNA School(Nurse Anthesis) and investment portfolio is now little over 5M.
