I pay $30 a month for a gym membership (I go 4-days a week). i also replace my hiking shoes/running show once a year (some times twice) and those shoes usually run about $150 a pair. and if you count all the hiking vacations, then it will be more.

Interesting... in my youth experimenting with narcotics was the norm and I rarely drank. I never took to alcohol and rarely touch it except for social occasions. I'll still partake in a little drug use when the opportunity arises but I don't search it out. I do have alcoholics on both sides...
I'm currently clocking 45 miles a week running/hiking. I drink an average of 2 liters of water daily. I do not drink coffee, tea, juices or alcohol. I also drink water with every meal (which I just realized is not part of the 2 liter number above)
only retired 2 years so still on phase one. I honestly don't see me myself in phase 2, 3 or 4. I have too much to do to feel lost or loss. I have enough activities to keep me busy to seek out new things, unless they come to me organically. Although, I'm always open to new things that friends...
