Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

Sorry no. As someone else here said, I am not here to educate, or enlighten. I also am not here to sell anything. The "top tier" was never meant to be a list of recommended stocks. And...the software doesn't recommend anything. It's simply an informational aid. The individual picks the stock...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

haha...no. Very cynical by the way. The software gathers information from the SEC and does all of the calculations involved in analyzing 7 different fundamentals of a company. It's completely transparent so there's no "?" as to how the software determines value. So far it seems to be working...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

No value investors? No fundamental analysis gurus? That's too bad. I could pitch my investment software. Index investors are the ONE group that won't buy anything but index funds. ;)

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

That's funny, mutual fund companies are positioned to do that...weird ;) Actually, your statement is a little misleading. A mutual insurance company has as its goal to maximize profits for policyholders because they are the "shareholders" - hence the dividend-paying insurance. A stock company's...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

What nonsense? I see what I think is the beginning of the thread, and I see no Q's, just a reference to another thread. Secondly, I didn't start any "fights". I didn't threaten anyone in my first post, nor did I insult anyone. I was told to have a "flame retardant suit". I guess that's a...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

Sure. Be happy to. This is the beginning of the thread? http://www.early-retirement.org/forums/f27/have-you-ever-heard-infinite-banking-concept-27184.html Where are the questions?

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

I've never had a client lose money with me that did exactly what I told them to do. In fact, they always make more money than me on the financial products I sell. Which is fine, as long as I have the opp to be referred to their friends and fam.

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

I understand. The industry has a bad rep. Some of my close and personal friends and family are "do it yourself-ers". The biggest frustration is seeing them make errors in judgment over tax issues, mortgage planning, investing, etc. Too much time spend chasing the highest investment return, not...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

I'm really sorry that you had such a bad experience. I can understand that something like that probably does leave a bad taste in your mouth. It's too bad your adviser never checked the company's comdex score and didn't steer you away from that company. As a general rule whole life is not...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

Is this what you call "making an impression"? ;) This reminds me of a conversation I had with an individual the other day. He ask me for testimonials. I used to give them out quite frequently. But I noticed something funny about the whole process. You should too being that you are all so smart...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

No. I read a lot. Perhaps there is something I should know about the folks that frequent this board? Is everyone bloodthirsty? Maybe for you. My experience is that there are a fair number of folks that think they can get something for nothing.

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

First of all, I'm not here to sell you anything. Not sure where you got that idea from. Maybe you're naturally defensive? Hope that works out for you. Second, I guess you'll have to enlighten me on the "snake oil" part of your statement. Third, what do you consider "rich"?

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

Probably the biggest thing an adviser or insurance agent has to contend with is the weird fact that people want to work with successful advisers, but they also don't want to pay them anything for it and they expect them to give away the best investment and financial planning advice in the world...

Have you ever heard of the "infinite banking" concept?

Maybe I am asking for it....but I've been reading this and other similar threads about the IBC. I am a financial adviser who uses Infinite Banking and teaches it to other individuals and businesses. Some of what is being said here is half-true, but a bit misleading. Maybe I should ask...are...
