    Your recent repair? - 2021 to ?

Spent the last 3 weeks off and on puttering around to install a new 16' x 10' garage door. Just have a new opener left. Only had 6 inches of headroom so had to get semi custom for the install. It's been a bit of a challenge.

Medigap part G high deductible Florida users

Fair enough. I still like the insurer better for regular part G and am going to go with them. I have a few things coming up to be looked at (my PSA was high and might need a cardio workup) now sure how much of the guaranteed savings I would chew into so am happy to stick with regular G. Thanks

Medigap part G high deductible Florida users

I'll be 65 next month and shopping. Plan G HD premium for me lowest is $47/month. Plan G regular is $168/month. However I am sticking with the regular Plan G. One because it is Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield which I like and 2) because the Plan G High Deductible has a $2800 deductible. It is...

I was 133 lbs in high school. Would never want that now but probably could lose about 5 -6 lbs around the mid section. Walk the dog about 20 miles per week and climb my local mountain once a week. very strenuous hike...

We don't have children so it's probably a huge bargain in the long run. Besides he's awful cute.

Ah yes. We spent over $1400 last year at Chewy's for just one dog. Only spent $464 at the Vet in comparison. :)

Exactly. Not a good reason at all to make a decision on.

I'm gonna give it all away...

Thanks for the update and this post. I hope that some sort of unexpected positive outcome may come out of your Mayo visits. I am not a religious person and can't "pray" for you nor would I presume that would do any good. I really applaud your wish to help others and especially the orphanage...

    What stocks are you shopping?

Hah. Yes I have been trying to trade a small amount in options all week. It kept moving so fast I couldn't nor didn't dare to try to catch it. Options with yesterdays expiry were going up and down several hundred percent in mere hours. I'm not that good.

    What stocks are you shopping?

Not me but my hiking buddy bought 2000 shares of SMCI less than a year ago for about $110/share. He then recently bought another 1000 for about $635 /share. All in about $855k. It went from $311 on Jan 18th to $1004 at yesterdays close. A gain of $2,079,000 in 4 weeks. :coolsmiley: I told him...

    Bathroom remodel, shower size?

Swanstone makes nice solid surface wall panels for showers . Similar to what Corian used to be for countertops. Can do each wall in one piece with no seams(except corners) or grout.

    Bathroom remodel, shower size?

Agree with all this. In fact I think a nicely done large walk in shower with some nice new cabinetry would be more valuable for resale than a tub not less valuable.
