I am still working on a location. Someone please give me comparison between Venice, Venice Island and Naples/Ft Myers. Where would I find a decent price on purchasing with beach within walking distance? It should be a good investment opportunity for future sale maybe 10 years away.

Thanks for all the info, I do not believe the villages or any 55+ community is for us. I prefer to do my own itineraries/planning, + the family members have young children that would not fit in, and this place is mainly for their enjoyment during vacations, as it is as much of an investment...

I came from Houston and now living in Abilene....do NOT like it here, the most unfriendly community I have ever been in.....going to Florida soon.
