Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

This is really interesting and just what I was looking for. I never even considered an rv or a travel trailer and then selling it. I wa thinking of having it long term etc. if I wanted to out a unit in the back later I could always do that but super nice RV are around 40 instead of like 65/75...

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

I travel a lot for work so I have to do an online program. I chose WP Carey at Arizona state. About 60-65k over 2 years. Yes this is a huuuge question! I think we could have our own thread just about to MBA or not. I am a nerd and love school that's why I tried to do a cheater masters and got a...

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

In Sacramento they do alow you to have an accessory dwelling unit as long as its less than 400sq ft and you can rent it out. Based on my research in the area an airbnb tiny hole goes for about 100 a night plus a cleaning fee and many of them are consistently rented 15-20 days a month. That would...

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

That might be an option. I was worried about renting it while the site is under construction. I am willing to deal with some craziness but not sure I want random people on my constructions site. It would depend on what stage we were at. Thanks!

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

We would want to keep it long term to rent out. I would be concerned with a tailor not renting well or holding up. Not sure haven't owned one.

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

Very interesting idea! In our house plans we would have one bedroom/office and a bathroom on the first floor. We could ask what it would be to just do the first floor. If everything is roughed in we could wait till we needed the other bedroom/babies show up :p These are our house plans. While...

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

This is totally awesome. Can't figure out the price. We were looking at the Sakura from Minimaliste Steve doesn't want to bend down in a loft at all. Priced around 100k since its larger. The fact that it can be an "RV" during building then we would permanently affix it to a foundation may give...

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

Good thought! Since it would be in our back yard forever I do want to consider looks to a certain extent. I wonder if siding something could be put over the exterior. Thanks

Frugal and Cheap living are not good ideas

I like thinking that I am financially conscious of my values and spend accordingly. A hails great value in travel but less on privacy so I rent a room in my house so I can travel instead.

Live Tiny Temporarily for a Goal

This is my first post. I live in Sacramento ca with my fiancé and our dog. We are planning to get married in Mexico next year and I start my MBA in the fall. We have decided to build a house and closed on our lot a month ago. We are trying to challenge some of our assumptions we made initially...
