    We could probably easily stick within a $90K limit but, with the growth and the general pressure reduction, we have allowed for several discretionary uppers and so we're running around $120K now. Obviously, some lumpy expenses hit occasionally but this feels like a very comfortable, fat number.

    Yes, I did take the "suck it up approach". It's interesting though that, once I didn't overly stress or obsess over the work (being laser focused on saving and retirement), it became easier to stomach!
