Update….
So I decided to go with fidelity I’ve deposited 30k. I was thinking about the 3 fund portfolio all which have little to zero expense ratio
FZROX. Fidelity zero total index
FZILX. Fidelity zero International index.
FXNAX. Fidelity total bond
Any thoughts on these or other...
Thank you I’ll be 47 this year, so 55 is not to far off, that’s definitely my best option. I’m currently doing my research on or how I may retire sooner
Thank you sooo much for the response
Ok thanks, I figured as much. I’m soon to be 47 years old and think of going part time or retirement earlier than 60.
I was wonder if there is any way around the early withdrawal penalty
Thanks for the response
Hello, quick question...if I rolled over a employer sponsored 401k to a taxable individual account does the 10% early withdrawal penalty apply if I was to start taking withdrawals immediately?
Thanks for any information folks
Thanks everyone for all he advice.
I do not have a traditional IRA yet, only a Roth IRA. I do like the idea of using the 55 rule with my current employer.
I have to find out if they will allow me to do that. I’ve got about 8 years to go.
Ok, I’ve been at my new job for almost 4 years and have been hesitant to rollover my 401k to my new job due to their lack of fund choices. They have only one Vanguard index fund choice and the rest are mutual and target date funds.
My question is should I roll over to my present employer plan...
Hello all, I was just wonder if anyone knows how or why the age of 59 1/2 was chosen as the age we can start withdrawals from our retirement?
Without penalty of course. Thanks everyone
