    That’s why I love individual bonds whether it’s munis or corporates, very predictable. I’m probably in the minority here but I’m 35 equities and 65 fixed income at age 44, capital preservation mode after I sold my business, focusing on cash flow.

    I agree, most of the bonds I'm referring to are high quality (Berkshire, JnJ, MS, WF etc) at 15-20 years, 5.75-6.25 coupons that I happen to pick up when the bond market hit its low in octoberish. Most I was able to purchase at par or a dollar or 2 above and now they are pushing between 115-120...

    How many of you sell your corporate or munis bond back early if you see a quick appreciation in value? I have several longer term corporates that have rallied 13-18% since the rates peaked in October and its enticing to make a quick profit.
