The IRS did something right! 2022 1040 was filed on 1/23/2023, accepted by IRS on 1/24/2023 and a refund was deposited in my checking account today 1/31/2023. Used Turbo Tax which was free for filing. Vanguard issued our 1099-Div on 1/23/2023. Earliest refund date ever.

ER'd 5 years ago and have been lurking here ever since. Stats: 57, married (DW is 56) , 3 grown kids, 1 grandson so far, retired from 31 years in Software, mostly sales, but started in Accounting. We do volunteer work at the local Arts venue- Philharmonic, Ballet, Opera, Broadway Shows, etc...
