A tale of red mulch and working smarter

Every other year we have 10 cubic yards of leaf (not wood) mulch delivered to supplement what I grind up in the fall. Most of it goes in the wooded area and it's a challenge hauling it over the granite block terraces we built 25 years ago when we moved in. Takes us a couple of days to spread it around the yard. Here's two photos from this spring.

So what do you folks pay for bulk mulch and what’s the breakdown between product and delivery?

$35 a yard..$45 delivery ..all done it equals $3 and change a bag. Exactly the cost at HD except no multiple trips to HC.
