Well, we have been knowing/seeing each other for over six months now and things are going very well. :cool: I guess you could say that we have become a "couple" and have been getting along fabulously. Dates are now commonplace and we go out dancing on Friday nights! Neither of us have done that in many years, It's so much fun!:)

Seems like we both check all the "boxes" with respect to our desire for a new mate after long marriages. My deceased wife has been gone 3 1/2 years and her husband 2 1/2 years. Our respective families are very glad we are together and happy.

Crazy stuff for a 79/82 year old couple!

Does she play golf? Does she like Whataburger?
 
That is great for both of You. I think about if I lost my wife and what I might do.
 
Love that you are dancing together. Dancing is such a great activity --fun, good exercise for body and mind and romantic. Keep it up!

You inspired me, starting with her about the same time I knew I needed to do things differently.

I changed my outlook and things got better. It's a big change from what I thought a few years ago.

Thank you for being my pioneer and avoiding the arrows in the back ;) Not far behind you now, boss:)

Yes, we attend a "seniors" dance at the local community center every Friday night and have a ball. We have met so many new friends there too! It's Country Western (live bands) and lots of "two step" (and some line dancing :LOL:).

Great to hear that after your last few years of figuring things out. Make sure you are both on the same page with all of your feelings and desires. Talk about everything.

Yeah that's great. Most of these things are way too much line dancing, not enough couples dancing. In my opinion of course.

But we used to do a lot of C&W dancing down that way when there were dance halls everywhere.
