I'm curious now, have you mentioned the forums and threads you've made? You've been super respectful throughout so I don't think there's anything to worry about if she's found these posts, but I'm interested to know if you've brought it up.

Yeah that's great. Most of these things are way too much line dancing, not enough couples dancing. In my opinion of course.

But we used to do a lot of C&W dancing down that way when there were dance halls everywhere.

At our place, the line dancing is during band intermission only so it's mostly couples dancing.

Actually, I have not mentioned the previous threads I started to her, although I'm sure I could at this point. That may be a good topic with her for a late evening time together. I sincerely appreciate everyone's input on those threads as it all was very helpful!

She's not on this forum so I would have to bring it up. She has three lovely married daughters and several "grands" and they are all very active with her using Facebook, Instagram, etc and that keeps her busy.

I had a friend who lost his wife when he was 71. After six months he met a lady and they started seeing each other, even taking short trips together. Some family members thought he should have waited a year or two before seeking a new lady friend. His reply was simple, “I’m 72. How much more time do you think I have left to wait?”
