Amazon Prime Days 2026

I'm doing more and more shopping at Amazon. (Prime days or not) I can find exactly what I want without having to drive to the store (40 mile round trip) and either settle for something less or not finding it at all.

Anybody need any empty Amazon boxes? I've got tons of them.

I didn't realize it was Prime day.

I was on Amazon to buy some other stuff when I noticed that Peet's Nespresso decaf capsules are on sale for $0.52 each. That a good price, so I went ahead and ordered some.

I didn't see anything else of interest.

You made me go look.

And what I discovered, was that the Nespresso capsules I have on subscribe and save are on a major discount!!! I moved a few more up to a closer delivery. Sweet!

Well, Apple Computer raised their prices across the board today.

While Amazon is having a sale on Apple’s M5 lineup and like other Apple retailers is still selling at the old prices plus discount. Apparently there is a huge run on these stores selling at the old prices.

I had been meaning to buy a new MacBook Pro before long. This pushed me off the fence. Just ordered at $1549 compared to the old retail price of $1699 and the new Apple Store price of $1999.

I got excited as DH and I were just recently discussing upgrading our 5 year old macbook pro laptos. However, we've had no battery degradation or other issues. BUT, if they're on sale...unfortunately, we love our 16"ers and those are not on sale .

I have an iPhone 15 Pro, but haven’t upgraded because the newer ones are slightly larger which I don’t want.

DH has an iPhone 16 Pro and in no hurry. He dropped back from the Max which was just too big, and the newer Max even bigger.

I bought the new iPad mini last year. My old mini was very, very old.

Can't believe I waited so long to buy a couple of 5 port USB charging stations. I bought one for the house and one for the workshop but I'm not sure two is enough. Everything seems to want to be charged VIA a USB these days.

I looked at the “deals” suggested for me on my Amazon home page. More crap I don’t need.

Since my wife and I are planning to move by the end of next year, it's rather hard to buy anything that isn't consumable right now.
