As part of my due diligence...I have recently posted this elsewhere; and this is a partial revisit to my thread, here, earlier this month. Decision time is upon me and I seek actual experiences feedback at this time.
I never thought I'd come to this point of consideration. I am considering allocating a portion of my equity positions to a financial management fund - North Coast Assest Management/Kovitz Investment Group Partners. I am seeking experience feedback. Please feel free to PM me if it is more appropriate.
This group was recommended to me via Fidelity after a constructive meeting with my advisor. I stated that I am not an options player, but I invest in various funds that perform the deed for me. It was stated that this management company will do this work for me and provide a better return (historically). After a couple phone meetings, I am nearing a time to sell off several comparable equity positions (options trading funds) and dive in. But first I seek more input from my fellow investors.
