Anyone have any idea what kind of dollar amounts we are talking about? I read somewhere that they gave a link to figure out how much you are going to get but I can't find any documentation in email or mail.

I got an email today with a status update on this. It said claims will begin getting paid out in May. There was other mumbo-jumbo legalese in the email, but I won't paste it here.

Also received email. I noticed it states: amounts below $5 will not be paid. I have no idea my amount.

Got a BCBS Settlement email today stating I would be receiving an eGift Card soon with my payment but no mention of how much. The lawyers know how much they'll be getting, a cool $667M.

I just got a debit card for $119.20 as my share of the settlement. I bet the law firm will triple the collective determination/compensation by millions.
BTW...Anthem BC/BS caused much pain and damage to my DW treatment procedures by denial and redirecting blame to Doctors and clinics. They were a major disaster in her life; and she suffers even to this day as a result of their antics.

I just received an email today from the settlement administrators, notifying me I will receive my settlement in the form of a virtual Visa prepaid card. Waiting patiently . . .

I forgot which form of payment I opted for. Maybe a card. I sent my claim in by paper. Got an email April of 2025 saying it was under review, and I would be contacted if they needed further info. Nothing so far!

I just got mine today. It's a whopping $51.22.

How do I use it at my supermarket? Do I enter the activation code instead of swiping a debit/credit card? How will it distinguish numbers from letters, and letters from other letters?

It's worse. I am not getting that verification code when I try to activate the virtual card. I tried it twice and checked my junk mail. The first one I requested 20 minutes ago. This is turning into a growing PITA, making me consider if it is worth it. That might be the goal of the lawyers, to get people to not want to jump through their hoops and forgo their claim.
