Breast cancer

I never had breast cancer, but did have to have a breast operation. Those drains are definitely a pain. Wishing that the other one gets taken out on Friday.

The other Jackson Pratt drain was removed today! Hooray! Feels good to not have all that stuff hanging down any more. And, I only have to wear the binder for four more days.

Meanwhile my vision has gone to H in a Handbasket, as the saying goes. I can barely read. Don't know why. But, I already have a routine diabetic eye checkup appointment with the best opthalmologist in town, during the first week in January. Maybe he can help.

Good news on your progress!

So sorry to hear of your new eye issues. It's good that you have a resource to help in January. Have you run this new eye issue past your PCP and/or your current health care team? Such a sudden issue seems odd and also urgent. God bless.

My PCP is the one who insists on these yearly diabetic eye checkups (he specializes in endocrinology as well as internal medicine). I agree, it does seem odd and somewhat urgent. Thanks for caring, as always. 💚 ❤️ 🩵💜🩷

So glad all of the drains are out, that must feel so much better!
Prayers continuing for ongoing health issues, take it one day at a time 🩷

Thanks for your updates W2R. My mother and one of our early married friends both had radicals. Not a pretty process but basically a year removed from their normal lives. It will fade in memory next year! Happy holidays.

Hi again, everyone. Not much going on here. Hoping that all the medical people will want to get back to work after the holidays. As for me, all I seem to want to do is sleep. Take care, talk to you later. 🩷
I've always considered sleep to be the best medicine.

I hope the coming year brings you positive solutions for your health, relief from discomfort, and a more enjoyable time for your retirement. You have always been an inspiration for me and I wish for you only all the good things.

Best wishes for a complete recovery, W2R, and a return to good vision.

I was wondering how your visit with your ophthalmologist the first week in January went.

I am hoping that he was able to do something that would help your vision.

I was thinking about you too. Hope you are resting and as well as can be expected.

I’m thinking of you and hoping you are resting well and getting stronger.

You and Frank continue to be in my prayers...
