Change in Plans...age 57..

Good plan. We sold our home at the top of our market...then traveled, then rented for a number of years.

Getting the higher value for our home, the subsequent financial advantage of renting for four years more than paid for our seven months of travel.

The home equity that we put into the market did extremely well during that four, almost five years. Much better than leaving it in a declining/stagnant real estate market.

It is all about timing.
