Well, after 14 days 7 hours a day building the shack, it is almost ready to use. I have about a half day left for finishing up. Be a good place to spend some time when I'm here on this end of the ranch. The old door came out of the old >100-year line shack. Some of the wood is from it also. The center support is a dead cedar from the ranch. The flooring sample a friend asked if I could use them so I place them at some time. The large rug is a giveaway also and will arrange it later also.

Been a fun project but glad it is done my hands are wore out from years of them being over worked.

Very cool...but do you have gold on your property? I am a wanna-be gold prospector but haven't done anything big yet. I did find a couple of specs in some surface dirt on our mountain property which makes me want to get my excavator up there and see if I can find $0.50 of gold using not more than $200 of diesel.

No Gold what I know off. Under my feet there is black gold, but I have no rights to it.

Ah ok, just that Montana has a fair bit of gold and you mentioned it was a former claim shed, my mind went to gold :)

Looks great street!
A cozy place to take in the view and rest awhile.

I am so very impressed!
The most I can do is photograph (and appreciate) a finished shed :):)

I like your project. Any plans to insulate and finish the inside? I see you have a neat little heat source. I bet it gets pretty cold in Montana in the winter.

Looks like the perfect place to view the wildlife while enjoying a nice fire in the woodstove.

No insulation and not going to finish it inside. It will be a day visits in winter and a woodstove will keep in very cozy even in cold Montana. I have another line shack very similar to this one in the high country and can be in t-shirt in minus temps.

aja8888, will get a couple easy chairs for relaxing for sure.

Wow! That is very impressive. It's big enough to hold a dance in. Thanks for sharing, street.

Nicely done, street.
