Cleaning grout

Getting estimate tomorrow on cleaning and sealing. Anyone have this done? Recommend clear or colored seal?

I had it done last year . I had a light beige seal . The tile looked like new when they were finished .They use a huge steamer and then paint the grout .You can buy the grout paint at Home Depot for $12.00

Estimates? A little bleach water does wonders on grout. It's just part of normal cleaning and maintenance.

I just completed retiling my master bath and two closets. It was no big deal.

Our grout was so stained (previous owners) that no amount of cleaning would take care of it. We had it colored (painted), and it turned out great. It's yellowed a tiny bit, but just being a consistent color makes it look tremendously better.


Before that we tried bleaching, scrubbing with SnoBowl and other cleaners, and steam cleaning. Nothing worked very well.
