Did SS Revise mySS Account Statement?

I got a bizarre email suggesting that SSA has redesigned account statements. Google search suggests this occurred 5 yrs ago. I did not click the link in the email to check my account. I did login but I cannot view a statement because my application is pending and my account looks normal.

Here is a excerpt from the email:
Your Social Security Statement is streamlined and easier to read than ever before. That is because we have redesigned the Statement to provide you the most useful information up front and at a glance.

Did anyone else get this?

Sounds scammy to me but I don't get communications from SS.

I got nothing like this.

I checked my email history and I got the exact same email exactly 2 yrs ago. I also have a couple of legitimate looking emails from this addy so I’m assuming a glitch in their email.

I just viewed my statement today. Looks the same format as my one from a year ago, which I still have.

I searched some more and I did find some scam emails using the same text that was in the email I received but they were from suspicious looking addresses. I believe what I received was legit but sent in error.
