I recently subscribed to Disney+ and I have been stunned by a chronic failure that affects every movie I've tried to watch. Specifically: ads (which I have no objection to) have been so inexpertly inserted in the movies that when they appear and run, they end up simply STOPPING the movie with no recovery possible. I am on Comcast and have never had similar experiences with other streaming services including Netflix, Amazon+, Tubi and others. This is a Disney product? DISNEY?
Am I alone in experiencing this difficulty?
Regards, Dick

I have not found this to be a problem. What I object to is that if I endure the commercials and miss the abrupt beginning of the return to the feature. When I then back up even 10-20 seconds, it makes you have to sit through the entire block of commercials again.

Are you streaming via comcast? Their ad play is probably the culprit, as I remember having that issue when using comcast's stream via chrome cast.

I stream Disney directly and use an ad blocker, so I don't see any ads at all.

Are you using your TV provided app to stream? I had a similar choppy issue with Hulu, when I switched to a cheap Roku box, all streaming issues disappeared except the poor splicing in of commercials.

I haven't had that issue, but just yesterday I had a problem where I paused a show and I when I resumed, the audio restarted but the video was frozen.
