There are a few Dog Friendly Craft Breweries I enjoy visiting in Illinois and SW Michigan. In Illinois - Wolfden Brewing in Bloomingdale. In Bridgman, MI Transient Artisan Ales and Haymarket. Also Watermark in Stevensville, MI.
Roundbarn Winery in Baroda, MI too. Personal favorite as far as the quality of beer is Transient.

Interested in other peoples favorites in other locations to hit up when travelling with the pooch.

Many of the craft breweries around here have outside areas that are dog friendly areas. Like any restaurant/taproom, laws prevent dogs inside unless they are assistance dogs - which of course is abused by many people with dogs that are pets rather than assistance dogs.

The most dog-friendly brewpub I know of is called the Watermill Inn in the Lake District. Dogs are everywhere -- inside, outside, all over. Even their beers have dog-related names!

We've stayed there a couple of times. Very friendly, full of locals.

Duluth Minnesota has a ton of breweries for a small city,
most of them are dog friendly outside. Bent Paddle, Ursa Minor, Hoops to name a few. But our favorite is up the Superior Lakeshore in Two Harbors Minnesota, Castle Danger Brewery.

Pretty much any winery in Napa and north has an obligatory fresh water dish. We were pleased with our travels around northern California. At the Navarro Vineyards on the road to Mendocino, our JRT took the place over and greeted everyone at the door as if it was his shop. It was hilarious.

We have a motohome. And 2 cavalier king Charles spaniels. We are always seeking dog friendly breweries. Broken compass in breckenridge comes to mind because I am wearing their t-shirt. Also like their double ipa. But beers are expensive in Colorado.

Best quality and value is in sun valley.

With the dogs, we almost always stay outside when ordering food.

Black Husky, Milwaukee, welcomes dogs inside and on the patio.

Congrats on finding Broken Compass...
most tourists only find places like Eric's in the downtown area
Broken Compass, being in the north side industrial district, doesn't get as much traffic, except by more locals... and there wasn't that much parking... and unless the rear garage door is open, there's not anyplace for the fur babies

other places: in Bend OR -- the 10 Barrel on galveston (not the one on 18th in the industrial area) as there's usually lots of pups around by the outdoorfireplace
nearby in Redmond-- Wild Ride Brewing... ditto on the fireplace

in Cannon Beach -- Pelican Brewing, off Hemlock {hint: it's got a great oyster stout (when in season)}

in portland proper... Lucky Lab used to be nice...but it closed, and the area it was in got to be a bit more "downtrodden" (to be nice)... not too many McMenamins allow pooches, unfortunately... the one on the river up in Vancouver side would be great if allowed
