Any Dow Chemical retirees here? I have a friend looking at the Medicare extended service area offering... But she's just not sure about how these plans are servicing customers in general. Thanks for any wisdom...

I’m fully retired from TDCC. I do not recognize a “Medicare extended service area offering“. Maybe it’s location specific? Of their two core offerings, I’m on the low deductible Medicare Advantage plan.

Thank you so much for your response! It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. My friend is looking at their PPO, it has an extended area network feature.

Have you had good luck with any questions or servicing of your plan? My retiree is scratching her head on this part, she's been frustrated. Wondering if this is an ongoing problem or just open enrollment related

Whoops, I stand corrected. It's called the MAPD with ESA on the website. Not a PPO.

The Retiree Service Center has always been a big help. Sometimes you get a newbie, and I double check them by calling back and getting someone more experienced .
