Early voting started here this week. The first two days were super busy with lines out the door. This morning it took me just 15 minutes to vote. That's 15 minutes from leaving my front door to being back in my condo! The polling place is directly across the street and there were only four other people voting when I walked over there. I hope your experience is equally as good.

It was good. Took MIL's ballot to the county clerk's office in the courthouse last week. Submitted that, and walked across the hall to early voting. No line. So we early voted in the courthouse - in and out in 10 minutes.

We're going to early vote today after DW dr appointment. I expect the time killer to be seeing neighbors and "visiting" with them. The actual travel and voting should be quick.

Our state has no requirement absentee voting. I get my ballot in the mail and drop in in the ballot box when I complete it. No waiting. Dropped mine off Tuesday.

For the last few elections I’ve voted by mail. This time, the polling place is in the lobby of my apartment building, so I will be voting in person. Hopefully it will only take 15 minutes too.

Our early voting starts Monday and I will be there. Lines are pretty rare around here in our rural county and things are well organized. There only about 12k registered voters in my county, and based on recent years voting patterns, about half of them will probably vote early during the two weeks before "election day".

Voted by mail and can see online the ballot was received and “ accepted”
Between early voting and mail in it is so much easier than it used to be!

DH is an election judge. I'll go to his precinct and vote Monday. In our county you can vote in any precinct. Just have to prove identity etc. Or by mail.

Walked our ballots to the post office Monday - so they could sit for a day before heading off.

DH and I are on the active early voting list. We will fill out our ballots this weekend and use the drop box outside our nearby fire station. Our ballot is unusually long this year with around 15 propositions plus judge retention votes. Also, 10 state and local offices including corporation commission, county recorder, sheriff, and dog catcher. Just kidding on that last one! We have paper ballots with optical scanning so tabulation is fast, accurate and leaves a paper trail.

We will early vote next week.

Our state mails out ballots to everyone. We then drop them off. Really easy. I like filling out the ballot at home so I can look up info on my laptop.

Our State also does Vote by Mail.
Will send ours in as soon as ballots received.
The closest drop box is in the Police station parking lot, pretty secure!

On a whim, DW and I drove to the county seat the other day and voted early in person. There was absolutely no line and I parked just in front of the building. Only the federal election, one senator, our representative, plus a constitutional amendment. Easy peasy, and glad to get it done.

During early voting, I may vote in any precinct. Before I retired in 2020, I always voted at the Senior Center, which was conveniently located 10 minutes from my workplace, so it was easy to pop over there on my lunch hour.

This year the library branch I visit at least once a week is an early voting location for the first time, so I will vote there this Sunday, when I return a book that is due that day. Easy peasy.

I helped my mother to vote with an absentee ballot--what a pain, 6 pages of instructions, witnesses, mailing in ID for a 93 year old etc. Took several hours to get it all done but it is done.

I voted by mail in California since I started voting in 1978. My parents garage was a polling place. My parents voted by mail. California is unique with complicated initiatives and bond measures that require research before making a decision. Every voter gets a booklet with extensive information about each ballot measure and each candidate. When I moved to PA, I had to vote in person, and sometimes I didn't even know what was on the ballot. When we started vote by mail in 2020, I have voted by mail ever since. But I fill out my ballot and drop it off at our county election office rather than mail it. It gives me time to make thoughtful decisions. PA has made it possible for us to sign up to automatically receive a mail in ballot every election, by verifying our registration online each spring and signing up for mail in ballots.

DH will be out of state, and took care of his absentee ballot on Monday. Early voting in my area starts circa 10/26 and I anticipate going down to the polls with my son and voting on 10/27.

Took us a bit longer...maybe 30-min start-to-finish. Wife is very meticulus about filling in the small box with ink next to the candidate's name. Crowd was light. One of the judges was a friend...we worked elections together for a number of years,

Washington state is only mail-in voting. It’s convenient, and nice to be able research issues as you vote. I should have my ballot in the next day or two and if so, I’ll vote over the weekend.

I do miss voting in person. It was a nice experience, even though it was less convenient.
