I tried selling the "Things will look bad, but somehow we'll Muddle Along" newsletter, but I couldn't get enough subscribers. Imminent Disaster and call to action get more people to signup. Accuracy is less important than Fear.

"This time I mean it."
"The end of the world is upon us. Edition 9, updated to include the most recent threats."
Or, just simply: "Nothing good will ever happen again for the rest of our lives".
