Correct, we only have access to the later models of tesla chargers. Also don't have access to some chargers that are compatible but deemed too busy to allow open access to other manufacturers. Our rates are set by which method we choose to charge. Plug and charge rates are a little higher than using the tesla app and picking a charger first.Unless something has changed, non Teslas will have access to many but not all Tesla superchargers. And there was reportedly premium rates (30%?) for non Teslas - as it should be since all the funds to build the network have come exclusively from Tesla owners until now.
Nearest chargers to me goes for .26 kWh - .47kWh depending on the time of day. Since my at home rates are .09kWh I have yet to use the tesla chargers.
