I just submited my tax return for last year and therefore looked into submiting this years ES taxes.
I usually use EFTPS but for this year there is a change in login so I decided to use the IRS website route. The website showed me the ES taxes for 2023, and... WHAT? it shows I put $1300 per quarter. I thought I had put $1200.
I then spent an hour frantically learning what I would have to do to claim the extra $400. But I then double checked my USAA account and, NOPE, I really gave them $1200 per quarter.
The IRS web site is wrong. Very weird. I will wait to see what happens to the return.
