It doesn't, you have to wait till you get it to find out. You take about 4 more days and I got an e-mail from Paypal when it was deposited.

I received Facebook Internet Tracking settlement of $4.01 on PayPal. Evidently this is different from the User Privacy Settlement that is TBD.

In case anyone is confused.....

There have been two Facebook class action lawsuits with payouts. The Internet Tracking settlement was paid in April, 2025.

The one being paid out this month is the User Privacy settlement.

And just today I got another PayPal deposit -

Facebook Internet Tracking Settlement Administrator has sent you $4.01 USD.

This is from the first lawsuit originally paid in April 2025. My guess is that after all the payments were made there was some leftover and they spread it out among all the participants.

I had completely forgotten about this until receiving the "your settlement is on the way" email on 11/12. On 11/17 I received $31.83 via PayPal. DW had forgotten also, and a search of her mail show her getting the letter and settlement around the same time. Hers was for $24.29.

I got an email saying they had put anout $6.50 on my settlement card. Then today I got the same email as you. Ths is what the email said on 6/17:
"Additional funds have been added to your Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® in the amount of 6.50 as your additional settlement payment in the Facebook Consumer Privacy Settlement."

$7.04 for me. shoulda gone with a paper check. huge hassle trying to spend it w/out a virtual wallet. Amazon won't allow loading a gift card for less than $25.

I did. You load your virtual credit as a new method of payment. Then you have to "buy" an Amazon gift card and pay for it with your newly loaded new payment method. It worked for me.

By Gar - took another run at it and loaded the $7.04 onto our gift card as a custom amount. Feels much better not wasting free money. Thanks!
