Updated FV this morning without issue.

Fido Guidance Portfolio Summary is broken again. When I try to update my outside accounts, a lot of the ticker symbols are missing or if they are still there, they're classified as "other" so the asset allocations are incorrect. This tool seems to break once a week for me. Do others have this issue?

I finally am liking it more. The other day I had a problem with a CC account updating. A text discussion with Fido provided good guidance for the fix. In general, it is meeting my goals these days but I do not think I am very demanding with my analysis.

I'm using it only for DW who gets lost in my spreadsheets. Great general accuracy of NW & tracking.

I rely on my spreadsheets (10+ years now) for details and tax planning for future spending & conversion. Also for detailed spending history for the occasional question.

It’s been a mess for me. Accounts get dropped unexpectedly. Values get assigned incorrectly. It’s never been accurate. I stopped using it altogether.

Fidelity Full View doesn't even recognize interest/dividend income in the Fidelity brokerage account. It's only value seems to be in telling Fidelity how much I have elsewhere for them to lure in.
I've started deleting every external account FV stops updating.

That is really interesting. I have never had a contact from Fidelity pushing me for moving anything to them. Maybe I am just not worth it....

That is nonsense. I put in alot of stuff outside of Fidelity and not once has the free FA (also a VP) at Fidelity even asked me about moving them into Fidelity.

But happened to me. It is nonsense?

I set up a an experimental Dividend SMA with Fidelity for 100K in January 2026. The FA (also a VP... but then all of them are VPs so...) wanted me to do 150K and pointed to an additional 50K I had sitting elsewhere but visible in FV.

But why wouldn't you view your FA as trying to be helpful to make the suggestion? My Fidelity FA wondered why we have so much cash sitting in BOA which makes nothing and Fidelity pays higher interest rate. I don't view it as something nefarious, but rather a suggestion to my benefit.

No, i have very few issues with GPS. It does frequently return an error and refuse to update manually, though. Curiously, sometimesI have been able to update on the app when I’m getting errors on the full site. I only update quarterly so that limits opportunities for the feature to frustrate me. I’ll go check now and report.

Report: Just logged in and everything seems to be working. I only have about 4 tickers for outside accounts, but they all look OK and they are automatically updating when I click edit. Note this feature is separate from Full View but shares data I think. I don't/won't use Full View because I don't want to grant access and the feature has always seemed wonky to me.

She saw that we have six figures money sitting as cash and she asked wouldn't it be better to have those cash make 3+% in Fidelity over 0 in BOA? We said we needed that much cash flow to pay bills each month and that was it. There was no more "encouragement" to move those cash to Fidelity. It was a question, and we never saw that as asking us to move the money. It was asked once, and never came up again in our bi-yearly meetings.

I just checked again and it is still not working. I will have to call them and see what's up. For example, let's say I have $100,000 in a Vanguard account that has four separate ticker symbols, only one of them is showing as $25,000, another one is listed as other and the other two tickers are not listed. Really strange how others are good. I do NOT link my accounts from Fido to other brokerages.
