Fidelity Visa technical issues card rejected

My wife went to the grocery store this morning, her Fidelity Visa card was rejected. I tried logging into our account on Fidelity.com and I can't get in due to "technical difficulties" . Anyone else having issues using their Fidelity card today?

So I called them, apparently they are down and are working on the problem. Kind of disappointing. I've never seen a credit card system go completely down.

Fortunately I’ve never run into that.

I tried logging into another financial site this morning and couldn’t. I got a technical error message.

It’s one thing for their website to be down. It’s a whole different problem if they can’t process transactions. Not a good thing. I’ve never had a card not work for an issue other than a cautionary fraud checkpoint. But,yes, the Fidelity card website is down this morning for me too.

I can still access the Elan Fidelity website. That seems normal.

Wow that's major. Literally job one for all credit card processors is to make sure that POS never hiccups.

The Elan Fidelity site is back up now. But it was down earlier this morning.

I just logged into my CapOne account.

Also no problems with my Fido account.

I was able to reach the Fidelity CC site earlier this morning, no problem. I see, post #10 it was back up.

Interesting!! I bought a few things at the store and the first scan was rejected... cashier thought they did something wrong and put it back in and it was accepted...

Guess I got it at the right time!!!
