I learned of this financial advisor while listening to a financial guy online that I really like. I am not recommending this and frankly know nothing about this firm, but it hits one of the things we discuss here often. They do not work on an assets under management fee schedule. It's an annual flat fee. I thought I'd share it here in case anyone wanted to look into it further. The company is called Facet and can be found at Facet dot com. A quick look and it seems they are more of a CFP and not just an investment advisor. Again, do your homework.

Tyler Gardner the guy you were listening too?

He's been all over my feed so I started listening to the podcasts. He mentioned Facet too.

WSJ gave them an excellent review recently.

Three tiers:
Core $2,600 (annually) (3 meetings first year, one per year thereafter)
Plus $4,300 (2 annual meetings, plus extra assistance)
Complete $8,700 (4 annual meetings, tax preparation, advanced tax & estate planning)

Yes. I'm trying not to advertise for anyone but I think he's a pretty good listen. Unfortunately, similar to some of the discussion here, I'm past the decision making point on a lot of that stuff.

So I get 4 reviews in a year with my free Fidelity FA, although we always decline between the quarters, and only meeting her twice a year. She is also a CFP in addition to being a VP at Fidelity. She will answer any questions and give whatever guidance that we want from her. I am not new to this, as we had AUM with Fidelity for 4 years and then to ML Wealth Management for another 9 years. We won't go back to a paid fee advisor.
