I stumbled upon this website and am very intrigued .....

61 year old with 4 kids of which 3 in college ! luckily, I have accrued adequately for all their education al expenses, but ....... onto retirement !

No specific timeframes for when I would like to retire; rather, my goal is to be well prepared.

We're a friendly bunch (for the most part). Feel free to ask questions. As Whisper mentioned, above, firecalc can be a useful tool. Make sure you understand that you have to fill in all the tabs and that the "spending" input is gross spending - so it includes taxes and health insurance, as well as trips to Tahiti to sip fruity cocktails on the beach.
