My cataract surgery went well, I had lenses for distant vision implanted. My vision is 20/20 in both eyes. I use cheap readers for close work, less than 12".
But a couple weeks after my second surgery I had flashes in my right eye. Went to a vitreo specialist and he said it wasn't a torn or detached retina but just some floaters. They will either go away or I'll get used to ignoring them. It's been a few months now and they're still there. Vitreo doc is not recommending treating them now but they're still bothering me. Especially when reading when I'll see the text go from crisp black to gray and not as crisp. It's also a bother when driving since I'll see them in my peripheral vision sometimes.
Has anyone else had this problem with floaters after cataracts and what did you do to resolve them?
