Recently I noticed the line of text denoting no new posts below this point is not appearing. I found that useful to know I have seen all the newest threads or new posts to threads since I was at the site the last time which is usually every evening. Why am I not seeing that?

You should see it if you have the Filter set to show only Unread posts:

I'm also no longer see the line that Graybeard isn't seeing. Pretty sure I was seeing it when he first brought it up. I thought I didn't see the Show only Unread filter but I do see it now on second check.
I'm on Windows 11, Firefox. I have Noscript and AdBlock on Firefox so sometimes I don't see everything but I enabled the last script and I still don't see the line.

Just checked Chrome and I see both the filter and the line.

I just found the line. For me it was about 4 pages back, on Monday. I hit "New Posts" a few times every day so it's there but not accurate for me on Firefox. I don't know how it keeps track of what I've already seen. Maybe something changed on Monday and Firefox no longer updates it for me? It's too bad, I use it a lot to stop scrolling for new content.

I'd think it is in the cookie from the site.

Last night I did see the line. I just went through all the new posts and the line is there again tonight. I always did see it and just recently I noticed it missing as I was surprised I was going 5 and 6 pages deep into new posts and then saw the dates from days ago.

Experiencing new issue with quotes not showing up in Reply text box. I have to log back in to the forum and try again in order for quoting to appear. I have observed this with both the Brave and Firefox browsers on iPad.

Also the post reply button doesn’t always respond.

Some folks like to use Dark Reader, an open source extension for many browsers. I believe it costs a few bucks, but it's popular.

Each browser has a dark mode option. I also use the DarkReader addin for browser.

If you are using Windows 11 in the search box type "Night Light" I set it to 50 and it removes the brightness and that ghastly blueish tint. I'm on a pc not a phone BTW.

I am confused. I don't recall seeing a frequent poster so I searched his screen name. I looked at his recent posts and I see he posted today. The confusing thing is he posted in a thread I can't find and I always click on "New Posts" each time I come here. That post does not appear in the list of new posts, last time I was here was last evening and that post was made today at 6:26 pm.

Funny Joke Thread 2021 to ?​

I went to the top of the thread and see I clicked on "ignore thread" in the past, OK that's why the thread is not listed but when I clicked on that and changed it back to not ignore I don't see that that thread listed when clicking on "New posts". I thought I reset that yet the thread isn't listed, why?

Funny Joke Thread 2021 to ?​

There have been no new posts in the Joke thread since you made this particular post. Now that you no longer ignore the thread hopefully new posts to it will show up in your feed.

Thanks. The fact it was made at 6:26 pm but did not show up as a new post after I reversed the Ignore made me question that but maybe going into the thread to "unignore" the thread meant it was no longer a "new" post to me. That seems logical.
